Whether you want a friendly game or serious chess, come to Newport Chess Club on a Thursday from 7.30.
We have 3 teams in the Shropshire league including a Junior (U-18) team. All Junior games are played at home (apart from one game against Shrewsbury Juniors), so there is no need to worry about transport arrangements.
During the year, as well as league games, there are club Swiss and rapidplay tournaments.
All ages welcome.
